THE PLACE OF FINANCE IN FAMILY INCOME

In the world of finance, honesty is a key factor. Whether it is family finance or personal finance, for the fact that it involves two individuals, honesty becomes a key factor. However, some persons have managed well without being honest to their partner about their income rate.

As much as you would like your own privacy when it comes to your own money, being honest would save you a whole lot of stress mostly if you’re not single.

As a man, being the head of your home, it is important for your spouse to know how much you earn, at least the ratio except you are fixed and very stable in the amount you give for family upkeep monthly or whichever way you do it, else it is important she knows. That way, she won’t spend beyond the amount given to her and request for more believing that you could have more to give. Also, some spouses could make trouble when they ask and you don’t give to them, and in most cases, the reason is simply because they don’t know how much you earn and often times do assume that you could have more to give, and because they have no idea as to the fixed amount you earn, they tend not to believe you when you eventually tell them.

In the order hand, you can save yourself tons of family crises by been honest with your spouse most especially as to how much you are been paid. Same is applicable to women as well.

For women, in rare cases, they encounter male spouses who are very demanding as to ask them for financial support. Some do, but most men don’t really like the idea except she’s his wife, even at that, some would prefer she uses her initiative to know where his financial strength has stopped and stepped in rather than for them to ask outrightly. Either way, honesty is the key to financial crises at home.

Avenue to save for

1.     Save no matter how small. Most times it is hard for families to save, but if you tell yourself you don’t have, you will learn to save more for a raining day should it ever come.

2.     Invest in real estate. Most people would say you don’t have money to feed sufficiently left alone invest in a real estate. The truth is, if you ask any of the people who have properties, none of them is going to tell you they had tons of cash for it except the super-rich. Every big dream starts with little savings. Also, there are a lot of real estate plans that allows you to pay bit by bit and it spread on a long period of time to enable you to own property. Remember you’ll one day retire. So, you need that investment today.

  

3.     Invest in shares. For a while now, I haven’t heard much about shares, but if you know of any good company willing to sell their shares, please grab one, I assure you in the long run, you won’t regret it.

4.     Personal development. Learn a new skill to put extra cash in your pocket as you grow up the ladder of age. Believe it or not, as you begin to age, you may not be physically strong enough to do most of the things you could do as you’re young. But one thing won’t change, that’s your need for finance to take care of expenses. Therefore, you must acquire a new skill to enable you still generate income whether you’re at home, retired or still working. The kind of skill that will not require so much energy but will still generate income. For ladies example baking, cooking, tailoring. For men, lecturing, carpentry, exercise, mentoring, or writing.

Irrespective of your Nation, these laws will work for you. Personally, I have achieved a lot by merely saving. Irrespective of how little, each day, week or month depending on whether you’re a daily, weekly or monthly earner, set a certain amount aside and save, in a period of 6 months to a year, you will be shocked at how much you are able to save and you will be able to achieve your dreams bit by bit by saving.
