INTRODUCING THE MAN JESUS TO THE WORLD

Jesus is the son of God!

  

    

In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without a form and void, and darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was moving over the surface of the waters.… Then God said, "Let there be light"; and there was light. God saw that the light was good; and God separated the light from the darkness.… God called the light day, and the darkness He called night. And there was evening and there was morning, one day. Then God said, "Let there be an expanse in the midst of the waters, and let it separate the waters from the waters." God made the expanse, and separated the waters which were below the expanse from the waters which were above the expanse; and it was so. God called the expanse heaven. And there was evening and there was morning, a second day. Then God said, "Let the waters below the heavens be gathered into one place, and let the dry land appear"; and it was so. God called the dry land earth, and the gathering of the waters He called seas; and God saw that it was good.… Then God said, "Let the earth sprout vegetation: plants yielding seed, and fruit trees on the earth bearing fruit after their kind with seed in them"; and it was so.…  The earth brought forth vegetation, plants yielding seed after their kind, and trees bearing fruit with seed in them, after their kind; and God saw that it was good. Then God said, "Let there be lights in the expanse of the heavens to separate the day from the night, and let them be for signs and for seasons and for days and years; and let them be for lights in the expanse of the heavens to give light on the earth"; and it was so.… God made the two great lights, the greater light to govern the day, and the lesser light to govern the night; He made the stars also. God placed them in the expanse of the heavens to give light on the earth, and to govern the day and the night, and to separate the light from the darkness; and God saw that it was good.… There was evening and there was morning, a fourth day. Then God said, "Let the waters teem with swarms of living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth in the open expanse of the heavens." God created the great sea monsters and every living creature that moves, with which the waters swarmed after their kind, and every winged bird after its kind; and God saw that it was good.… God blessed them, saying, "Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let birds multiply on the earth." There was evening and there was morning, a fifth day. Then God said, "Let the earth bring forth living creatures after their kind: cattle and creeping things and beasts of the earth after their kind"; and it was so. God made the beasts of the earth after their kind, and the cattle after their kind, and everything that creeps on the ground after its kind; and God saw that it was good.… Then God said, "Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; and let them rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over the cattle and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth." God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. God blessed them; and God said to them, "Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it; and rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over every living thing that moves on the earth."…

What you just read now is gotten from a book call the bible. It’s a book that contains everything about God and His son Jesus, who He sent to die for mankind to save us from the evil happening in the world.

When man began to multiply upon the face of the earth, they began to deviate from serving the only one true God (God Almighty) and the Lord felt for man because it is not His will that any should perish. Hence, He sent His son Jesus to come die for humanity.

Now, like you have read above, there is a God in heaven, the creator of everything that there is. No man has ever seen His face before. He dwells in heaven. Heaven is a place where people who obey God’s instruction go to when their time on earth is over. There, there is neither sickness nor disease, there is neither pain nor suffering, and there is no death. Again, lots of people believe that once man dies, live has ended, no, live has not ended, yeah live has ended here on earth, but to be continued in heaven or in hell. And hell is a place meant for those who didn’t follow the ways of God to obey His commandments to be good here on earth. But not every person who didn’t commit sin enters heaven because God has set a standard via which we must all enter heaven. If you love your father, you’ll obey his instruction, and if you love God, you will obey His too for His instructions are all for your benefits only.

Introducing the man Jesus

Jesus is the son of the living God. When man began to sin here on earth, and it vex the Almighty that He had created man. It is not His will that any should perish. Hence, He sent His son Jesus to come die for the sins of men to bring us closer to our maker again. So, we all can be at peace with our God.

Furthermore because God is a Spirit and not flesh, and Spirits don’t have blood and cannot die, Hence, He had to

manifest as a flesh by being born through a virgin who has never known a man. Luke 1:27-31. God sent His only begotten son here on earth via birth through the womb of a virgin who has never known a man before. Jesus was born here on earth in Bethlehem of Judea by His mother Mary (the virgin through whom He came into the earth) and earthly kings came after Him thinking He had come to overtake their throne. They didn’t know He wasn’t earthly, and does not care about the earthly things, but heavenly. Hence, after many accusations against Him, the Jews

killed Him here on earth thousands of years ago. On a tree (Cross) What they didn’t know was that, that was His main purpose of being here on earth, to die for the sins of man, and draw man closer to God again.

While on earth, He did lots and lots of incredible miracles like open the blind eyes, make the lame to work, He went to a wedding and they lack drinks for the guest, hence, He turned a pot of water into the best  (nonalcoholic) wine ever which was testified by the guests of the ceremony. He was very good, and provided for the poor. He also fed the hungry too and His goodness was too much to all be recorded in books.

But when he died, He went and reconciled man back to God, to make peace for man between he and his maker

(God Almighty) And on the third day of His death, He rose from the death, and ascended into heaven to be with God where He originally belongs.  As you read this, He is still in heaven with God Almighty far above all principalities and powers, and when you mention His name “JESUS” every knee shall bow of things in heaven and on earth.

How to be close to the Father (God Almighty) after knowing Jesus. It’s simply just accept Jesus as your Lord and personal saviour. That means you acknowledge Him as the son of the living God, and accepted His death as the remission of our sins. Immediately your name will be writing in heaven among those qualified to go to heaven when your time on earth is over. And heaven is very

beautiful. You don’t buy anything there because all is given for free. God gave man the wisdom to make all that there is on earth today, what then do you think the one who gave man such wisdom will do in His Kingdom where He stays? Heaven is beautiful and it’s a place I wouldn’t wish anyone to miss. You will see angels everywhere ready to serve you at your beck and call. Also there’s no sickness or disease there, and so much more too numerous to mention. Just accept Jesus today as your Lord and personal saviour and all shall be ours. Accept Jesus and continue to live a good life here on earth, and God will make your life while here on earth to be as comfortable as it would have been in heaven. That means the evil happening to other people can’t happen to you because now your God’s own and He shall protect you.

In the light of the aforesaid, if you would like to accept Jesus as your Lord and personal saviour kindly say after me - Lord Jesus, I'm a sinner, forgive my sin. Cleanse me now with your precious blood. Come into my heart. I accept you now as my Lord and personal saviour. Write my name in the book of life. I am born again. Old things are passed away, behold, all things have become new in Jesus name.

You will see lot of names used to describe God; they’re all names of God. The Almighty can be called any name that can best describe His magnificence.

  

DEFINITION

God - The creator and ruler of the universe and source of all moral authority; the Supreme Being.

Lord – The master and superior.

Heaven - A place where God abode and the angels, and those who practiced good deeds would receive the reward of a place in heaven"

Almighty - Having complete power and omnipotent.

Saviour - A person who saves someone from danger or difficulty.

Born-again - A person who has converted to follow Jesus Christ.
